Job Title: Welder and Fabricator Job Description

• Responsible for welding steel staircases, railings, steel beams, columns, footings, and other structural steel forms involved in the construction of buildings
• Responsibilities include grinding and performing welds on finished handrails, utilizing a hand grinder and polisher, and moving and loading products after shipments are completed
• The individual will work with various weld sizes including 3/16, 1/4, 5/16, and 3/8, and will be involved in tasks such as tack, finish, and fabrication

Responsibilities

• Grind and perform repair welds on finished handrails
• Utilize hand grinders and polishers, alongside welding equipment
• Handle various weld sizes including 3/16, 1/4, 5/16, and 3/8
• Perform tasks including tack, finish, and fabrication

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in MIG welding
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Experience with structural steel, tube, and square steel fabrication

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
