About the Department
The Health Professions Department offers a broad range of academic pathways that cater to diverse interests, spanning from direct patient care to fitness and sport-centered careers. Core programs such as nursing, dental hygiene, and health sciences are complemented by specialized options including exercise science, personal training and entrepreneurship, and sport management.

Position Description
Perimeter College is seeking part-time instructors in Exercise Science who will play a key role in educating and supporting students.

Required Experience
None specified

Required Education
To qualify to teach Exercise Science a minimum of a Master's degree is required in the teaching discipline or a minimum of a Master's degree with at least 18 semester or 27 quarter graduate hours in relevant coursework (completed by the anticipated date of appointment).

Preferred Qualifications/Experience
Teaching experience is preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
* Ability to teach Exercise Science class at the collegiate level.

* Ability to teach effectively using a variety of methods, relate to students and facilitate student learning.

* Effective communication skills needed.

* Excellent organizational and teaching skills.

* Demonstrated knowledge of instructional technology is required.
