About the Role
The Company is in search of an Executive Director and Vice President for Early Phase Clinical Development. The successful candidate will be a Board-Certified Neurologist with a strong background in overseeing early clinical development projects, particularly in the area of autoimmune indications such as Multiple Sclerosis. This individual will be responsible for a portfolio of early-phase clinical development projects, designing and implementing clinical trial strategies, and leading cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. The role also involves hands-on medical monitoring duties, SAE assessment, and managing external partners to ensure GCP compliance and the execution of deliverables. Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years' of experience in biopharma/biotech, with a proven track record as a Lead Physician on an Asset Program. The position is an individual contributor role, reporting to the CMO, and is integral to the wider clinical team. The ideal candidate will have a strong scientific background, be adept at project management, and have a deep understanding of the regulatory landscape for early-phase clinical trials. The role is full-time and offers remote working within the USA.
