About these Opportunities: 7-Eleven Inc. has several opportunities for Summer Internships. Each internship opportunity will occur during the summer months, (11 weeks), focused on a specific functional area, and will provide the candidate with a depth experience within the area, culminating in a project presentation to functional leaders. Each intern will work closely with a coach who will meet regularly to discuss project progress, provide direction and ongoing feedback. In addition, each intern will attend a lunch series which will provide a cross-functional view into the organization and give the interns exposure to senior leadership. The interns will also have the experience of touring a store and learning about our distribution systems. Expectations and Responsibilities: + Provide hands-on experience in the execution phase of store development. + Deepen understanding of construction, permitting, and vendor coordination. + Foster leadership and problem-solving skills in real-world settings. + Assist field managers with site inspections and contractor coordination. + Participate in pre-construction meetings and punch list reviews. + Document field progress and report on project milestones. + Lead a mini-project Qualifications: + Pursuing a Bachelor's or Masteru2019s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Business or related field + Strong, clear and concise communication and writing skills + Exceptional attention to detail, time management and prioritization skills + Ability to independently lead projects and collaborate with cross-functional colleagues + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. + Excellent organizational and time management skills. + Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and other Microsoft Office applications If an hourly or salary range is included in this ad it represents the range 7-Eleven in good faith believes is the range of compensation for this role at the time of this posting.
