Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and professional Security Officer to join our team. The Security Officer will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for residents, guests, and staff. This position focuses on protecting property amenities, deterring vagrancy, and ensuring unauthorized vehicles and individuals do not access or remain on the property.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct regular patrols of the property, including parking areas, amenities (pool, gym, clubhouse, etc.), and common areas.
Monitor for and report suspicious activity, vandalism, or safety hazards.
Politely but firmly address loitering, vagrancy, and unauthorized presence on property grounds.
Ensure that all trespassers and unauthorized vehicles are identified and removed according to property policy.
Verify that all gates, doors, and amenities are properly locked and secured during non-operational hours.
Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and resident concerns, providing assistance as needed.
Document daily activities and incidents in detailed security logs and reports.
Work collaboratively with property management and local law enforcement when necessary.
Maintain a professional demeanor and represent the property with courtesy and integrity at all times.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Valid security guard license or ability to obtain one (if applicable by state law).
Previous experience in property, residential, or private security preferred.
Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
Must be able to walk or stand for extended periods and perform routine patrols in various weather conditions.
Basic knowledge of safety protocols and emergency response procedures.
Reliable transportation

Must be able to walk, stand, and patrol for prolonged periods.
Work may include exposure to outdoor elements.
Schedule: Wednesday through Sunday 12:00 am to 06:00 am.
