Surgical Tech - CVOR

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist specializing in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) procedures. In this role, you will assist surgeons during complex cardiovascular surgeries by preparing the operating room, managing instruments, and maintaining a sterile environment to ensure successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare the operating room by ensuring all necessary instruments and equipment are sterilized and ready for use during cardiovascular procedures.
• Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments, holding retractors, or handling specimens for lab analysis.
• Maintain a sterile field throughout the surgery by adhering to strict infection control protocols.
• Monitor inventory levels of surgical supplies and ensure timely restocking as needed for upcoming procedures.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to anticipate needs during procedures and respond effectively to any emergencies or complications that arise.
• Assist with patient positioning, draping, and preparation before surgery begins.
• Document procedures accurately and ensure proper handling of surgical instruments post-operation for cleaning and sterilization.

Work Environment:

• Work in hospitals or specialized cardiovascular operating rooms equipped with advanced surgical technology.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, anesthesiologists, and other surgical team members in high-pressure environments where precision is critical.
