Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more. JCW is working with a fast-growing hedge fund on a Tax Manager opening. In this role you will be working with plenty of senior people across the business, and will have plenty of room for upward mobility. The Tax Manager will oversee partnership tax compliance for the firm, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance with tax laws, and effective management of complex partnership tax matters. Key Responsibilities: Manage the preparation, review, and filing of partnership tax returns (Form 1065) and Schedule K-1s. Ensure withholding compliance for foreign partners (e.g., section 1446) and handle special allocations in line with partnership agreements. Calculate partnership tax provisions and collaborate on financial reporting. Advise on tax-efficient investment structures, maintaining alignment with partnership tax regulations. Prepare for partnership audits, respond to IRS inquiries, and ensure compliance with BBA partnership audit rules. Serve as a primary contact for partners on tax matters, coordinating with external advisors for complex compliance needs Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s in accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or Master’s preferred). Experience: 5+ years in partnership tax compliance, ideally in the hedge fund/credit space. Skills: Proficiency in partnership tax laws, complex allocations, and tax software.
