Job Title: Theology Teacher Location: St. Thomas Aquinas Regional Catholic High School About Us St. Thomas Aquinas Regional Catholic High School is a vibrant faith-filled community committed to academic excellence, spiritual growth, and service rooted in the teachings of the Catholic Church. We seek educators who not only excel in their discipline but also model and inspire a Christ-centered life for our students. Position Overview We are seeking a full-time Theology Teacher to join our faculty immediately. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Catholic theology, a passion for teaching high school students, and a deep commitment to the mission of Catholic education. This teacher will help students grow in faith, knowledge, and moral responsibility while fostering a love for the Catholic intellectual tradition. Responsibilities

  • Teach theology courses in alignment with St. Thomas Aquinas and diocesan curriculum guidelines.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that integrate scripture, tradition, and the teachings of the Catholic Church.
  • Foster a classroom environment that supports intellectual curiosity, faith formation, and respectful dialogue.
  • Collaborate with campus ministry, faculty, and administration to support the school's Catholic identity and student spiritual life.
  • Participate actively in school-wide events, liturgies, retreats, and service opportunities.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and faith witness to students both inside and outside the classroom.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required. Must be able to obtain diocesan Theology certification.
  • Must be a practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church.
  • Strong knowledge of Catholic doctrine and Church teaching.
  • Experience teaching at the high school level preferred.
  • Ability to integrate faith, reason, and academic rigor in instruction.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
