We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Greenville, South Carolina. This opportunity involves working in a fast-paced environment where you will support financial operations, perform reconciliations, and ensure the accuracy of accounting records. The role will initially be office-based, with the potential for hybrid work arrangements based on performance.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare and review commission and profit statements to ensure accuracy and timely processing.
• Analyze and reconcile credit card transactions and balance sheets to maintain financial integrity.
• Assist with month-end close activities, including a four-day close process.
• Conduct thorough reviews of contracts and RFPs to support financial decision-making.
• Complete journal entries and maintain the general ledger in compliance with accounting standards.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently.
• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accurate cash flow reporting.
• Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and maintain high standards of financial reporting.
• Utilize systems such as Lawson and QuickBooks to manage accounting tasks, with potential for future system migration.
• Provide analytics support to enhance financial insights and reporting capabilities.• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting or a related financial role.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Lawson, QuickBooks, or SAP.
• Strong knowledge of general accounting principles, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Experience with month-end close processes and financial statement preparation.
• Familiarity with accounts payable and accounts receivable workflows.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
