Currently hiring Shippers for a FULL TIME job opportunity in the Coatesville, PA area . The Shipper will be responsible for following customer orders, operating a forklift to move the larger material to designated areas, as well as being comfortable measuring and cutting material to specific dimentions thats speciifc for that customer order being filled. Prior warehouse experience will be required to be considered for this role as well as the ability to use a tape measure/ruler to be used when measuring the material on a daily basis. This is a FULL TIME and LONG TERM opportunity so reliability and being able to commit to a 40hr work week will be expected.

Responsibilities
Operate a sit-down forklift to load steel plates onto trucks for shipping.
Follow customer orders for precise shipping processes.
Palletize products and transport them throughout the shipping department.
Read and measure using a tape measure up to 1/32.
Measure steel plates prior to shipping and grind and deburr imperfections.
Package products in the correctly sized box or container.
Complete necessary shipping paperwork and bills of lading.
Keep the bench and work area clean and organized.
Learn different grades and gauges of material.
Essential Skills
Minimum of 1 year of experience with forklift operation (sit down).
Experience in shipping, specifically following customer orders.
Ability to read and measure using a tape measure.
Proficiency in converting fractions to decimals and vice versa.
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
Competence in reading instructions, drawings, and prints.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Coatesville, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
