**Job Title: Industrial Sewing Machine Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Industrial Sewing Machine Operator with experience in sewing, production, and machine operation. This role involves working with upholstery and various fabrics to assemble, hem, reinforce, or decorate textile products, ensuring high-quality output. **Responsibilities** + Operate industrial sewing machines to assemble, hem, reinforce, or decorate textile products. + Read and interpret work orders, patterns, and technical specifications. + Select appropriate threads, needles, and machine settings for each job. + Inspect materials before and after sewing to ensure quality and consistency. + Perform routine maintenance on sewing machines and report malfunctions. + Work with various fabrics including heavy-duty materials like canvas, vinyl, and leather. + Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area. + Collaborate with the production team to meet daily output and quality targets. + Use hand tools such as scissors, seam rippers, and measuring tapes to assist in sewing tasks. + Identify and correct sewing defects such as skipped stitches, uneven seams, or fabric damage. + Maintain accurate records of completed work and production times. + Assist in training new employees on machine operation and safety procedures. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in operating industrial sewing machines. + Ability to read and interpret work orders, patterns, and technical specifications. + Experience with various fabrics, including heavy-duty materials like canvas, vinyl, and leather. + Strong attention to detail and quality control. + Knowledge of routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in upholstery and assembly. + Ability to use hand tools effectively. + Experience in training new employees is a plus. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic and supportive team where you can hone your skills in a collaborative environment.
