Position Overview

Are you ready for a dynamic career on the road? We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Route Sales Delivery Driver. In this essential role, you’ll be the face of our company, ensuring customers receive frozen products promptly and with outstanding service. You’ll navigate a daily route, manage product deliveries, and foster positive relationships with every stop.

What You’ll Do

• Safely operate a company vehicle to distribute frozen goods to a variety of customers, following a scheduled delivery route.
• Make multiple stops per day, efficiently unloading products and ensuring accurate order fulfillment.
• Organize and merchandise products at client locations, maintaining attractive displays and proper stock rotation.
• Build rapport with store personnel, addressing questions and resolving issues to guarantee satisfaction.
• Accurately handle invoices, collect payments, and maintain detailed records of deliveries and transactions.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure your vehicle is in top condition and report any concerns.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety procedures at all times.
• Support team operations as needed, which may include assisting with warehouse duties.

Required Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving history.
• CDL-B permit preferred or willingness to obtain (company will assist and reimburse costs).
• Physically able to move, lift, and transport items weighing up to 55 pounds.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Prior experience with direct store delivery (DSD) or route sales is a plus.

Core Job Requirements

• Regularly ascend and descend from the truck cab and cargo area throughout the workday.
• Routinely move and position products weighing up to 55 pounds using carts or hand trucks.
• Remain alert and focused during long driving shifts, including early morning starts.
• Frequently bend, reach, twist, and kneel while loading and unloading products.
• Manage exposure to cold environments (below 0°F) while handling and storing frozen goods.

Work Setting

• Work is performed both inside and outside, with frequent exposure to varying weather conditions.
• Regularly operates in refrigerated spaces and may encounter below-freezing temperatures.
• Interacts with customers, store staff, and team members throughout the day.
• Must wear company-provided uniform and safety footwear for all shifts.

Schedule

• Full-time, permanent position with route start times as early as 4:00 AM.
• Routes typically include 10–12 stops per day; hours may vary based on operational needs.
• Saturday shifts required during peak periods.
• Overtime may be available.
