Attorney – Remote (Legal Research & Writing | Insurance Defense) Location: Remote (must be barred in New York State) Experience: 5+ years Compensation: $100-125K annually (commensurate with experience) We are seeking an experienced Attorney with a strong background in insurance defense to join our team in a remote research and writing role. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on deep legal analysis, persuasive writing, and complex motion practice—without the courtroom component. Key Responsibilities Draft and prepare high-quality legal documents, including motions, briefs, and appeals, in insurance defense matters. Conduct comprehensive legal research and provide strategic written analysis. Support litigation teams through written advocacy and detailed case evaluation. Manage assignments independently and ensure timely, accurate completion of work. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of insurance defense experience with a focus on research and writing. Active admission to the New York State Bar (required). Proven ability to produce polished, persuasive written work under minimal supervision. Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Must be comfortable in a role focused solely on research and writing (no court appearances).
