Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Remote Architectural Drafter / CAD Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating detailed architectural drawings and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software. As a remote team member, you will have the flexibility to work from anywhere, while still being an integral part of our collaborative design process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to create detailed 2D and 3D architectural drawings and plans
- Use CAD software to produce accurate and precise designs
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback from architects and clients
- Ensure all drawings comply with building codes and regulations
- Communicate and coordinate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met
- Maintain organized and up-to-date project files and documents
- Continuously improve and update CAD skills and knowledge
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an architectural drafter or CAD technician
- Proficient in AutoCAD and other CAD software
- Strong understanding of architectural principles and building codes
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and precise drawings
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines
- Experience working remotely is a plus
