We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Dental Assistant to join our dynamic practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high quality patient care and assisting the dental team in delivering exceptional services. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties:

• Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques
• Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment and materials while adhering to infection control protocols
• Take x-rays ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulation
• Record patient medical history, vital signs and other necessary documentation in electronic medical record systems
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care tp promote optimal health outcomes
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while following aseptic techniques and infection control guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant
• Experience with Dentrix is highly desirable
• Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy and procedures related to general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics and radiographic imaging
• Familiarity with HIPPA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and data protection
• Ability to perform chairside assisting effectively while managing multiple tasks in a busy environment
• Strong communication skills for interacting with patients, families and team members
• Experience with 3D scanners is a plus but not required
• Spanish speaking is a plus but not required
