Job Title: Traveling Recycler Collector

Job Summary:

A Traveling Recycler Collector is responsible for collecting, sorting, and transporting recyclable materials from various locations to designated recycling facilities. This role involves traveling to different sites, ensuring proper handling and disposal of recyclables, and promoting environmental sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collection: Gather recyclable materials from residential, commercial, and public areas.
• Transportation: Safely transport collected recyclables to recycling centers using designated vehicles.
• Sorting: Sort materials based on recycling guidelines to ensure proper disposal.
• Vehicle Operation: Operate recycling collection vehicles and equipment efficiently.
• Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles and equipment.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to health and safety regulations and protocols.
• Public Interaction: Educate the public on recycling programs and sustainability initiatives.
• Reporting: Record and report collected materials for tracking purposes.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Previous experience in waste management or recycling preferred.
• Skills: Strong communication skills, physical stamina, and ability to lift heavy items.
• Licenses: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Work Environment:

• Outdoor Work: This role requires working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Physical Activity: Includes lifting, operating equipment, and traveling between sites.
