As a Construction Installation Coordinator with ECAM, you’ll be at the center of our commercial security installation projects, turning plans into performance. You’ll manage the scheduling, logistics, and communication that keep our low-voltage technicians, subcontractors, and customers aligned. From coordinating installation timelines and troubleshooting remotely to ensuring every project closes out cleanly, this is a role for someone who loves organization, problem-solving, and keeping things moving.

Your Responsibilities
Project Planning & Coordination:
  • Coordinate and schedule installation projects in alignment with project timelines, resource availability, and customer requirements.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager to review project scopes, drawings, and material lists prior to kickoff.
  • Assign and dispatch installation teams or subcontractors based on skillset, location, and workload.
  • Ensure all required materials, tools, and equipment are available and delivered to job sites on schedule.
  • Monitor daily and weekly progress to ensure milestones and deadlines are met.
Communication & Support:
  • Serve as the main point of contact for customers during installation phases, providing updates and addressing questions or concerns.
  • Communicate effectively with field technicians, ensuring clarity on project expectations, timelines, and site readiness.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for timely procurement and delivery of materials.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, service, and logistics) to resolve issues and maintain workflow continuity.
Documentation & Reporting:
  • Maintain detailed project documentation, including schedules, progress reports, change orders, and closeout paperwork.
  • Track and report project status, identifying potential risks or delays and recommending corrective actions.
  • Verify installation completion, collect necessary sign-offs, and assist in project billing preparation.
  • Update and maintain project data in company management systems or software platforms.
Quality & Compliance:
  • Ensure installation work adheres to safety regulations, quality standards, and client specifications.
  • Support project closeout by verifying testing, training, and final documentation are completed.
  • Participate in post-installation reviews to identify areas for process improvement.

Your Qualifications:

 
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Able to pass an extensive screening process
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in business, construction management, or related field preferred.
  • Experience: 2–4 years of coordination or project support experience in installation, construction, or technical industries (security, electrical, AV, telecom, or similar).
  • Skills:
    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management or scheduling software (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project, Salesforce, or similar).
    • Ability to read and understand project drawings, scopes, and schedules.
    • Detail-oriented, proactive, and customer-focused.
