Job Requirements

Our Processing Operators are critical to success. They operate process-related equipment and plant process control systems safely and responsibly. This role offers growth opportunities within FritoLay and its parent, PepsiCo.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring process equipment and conditions using process control and information systems (process levels, temperatures, pressures, flow rates)
• Collecting and reporting plant measurements related to performance, asset utilization, quality, and cost yields
• Performing analytical checks, adjusting control systems, and manually operating equipment based on process and lab data
• Determining root causes of deviations in process, product or equipment performance through troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis
• Performing process equipment troubleshooting, routine repairs, improvements, and preventative maintenance

We operate 24 hours a day, so typical schedules may vary. The work is physical; you will be on your feet for most of your shift and exposed to loud equipment.

Other Experience and Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age
• Required to work weekends, holidays, and off shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist (e.g., a twin-size mattress) with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods with or without reasonable accommodation
