Print Production Manager role at IDLine Company Identification Services, Inc DBA IDLine Location Brooklyn Park, MN Position Overview We’re hiring a Production Manager to take ownership of daily production operations, scheduling, materials coordination, and team leadership. The Production Manager ensures jobs move efficiently through the shop from scheduling and materials to team coordination and deadlines. This person works closely with production staff, sales, and purchasing to deliver high-quality products on time, every time. This is a hands‑on leadership role , not a desk‑only position. Responsibilities Create daily and weekly production schedules and assign jobs based on press type, staffing, and deadlines. Manage rush orders and changes from sales. Oversee job flow across printing, finishing, and shipping. Lead and support the production team, train operators, and enforce quality and safety standards. Monitor performance, engagement, and shift coverage. Order unique or specialty materials as needed, partner with a part‑time purchasing agent on regular inventory, and track stock levels for inks, substrates, badges, laminates, and consumables. Serve as the main communication link with the sales team, clarify specs, proofs, deadlines, and changes, and report on production status, risks, and completion timelines. Reduce rework and prevent bottlenecks, track output, waste, and throughput, and coordinate equipment maintenance and downtime planning. Qualifications 3+ years in print manufacturing or related production environment. Experience with UV, Indigo, screen, or sublimation. Proven scheduling and production planning background. Leadership or team lead/supervisor experience required. Strong communication and problem‑solving skills. Compensation & Benefits Salary commensurate with experience. Performance or production bonus.
