Join Pond & Company as a Piping Designer and contribute to transformative Energy projects across the U.S. About the Position Pond is seeking a motivated Piping Designer to join our Energy team in one of our offices located in Atlanta, GA; Peachtree Corners, GA; Tampa, FL; The Woodlands, TX; or Denver, CO. This role involves developing 3D piping models and detailed construction drawings, creating P&IDs, PFDs, and piping specifications, and collaborating closely with mechanical and process engineers. Responsibilities Develop 3D piping models and detailed construction drawings. Create P&IDs, PFDs, and piping specifications in accordance with project and industry standards. Collaborate with mechanical and process engineers to translate design concepts into high‑quality deliverables. Ensure all work meets project and industry standards while maintaining attention to detail and quality. Contribute to a team that values innovation, mentorship, and continuous learning. Experience and Qualifications 5+ years of experience in piping design, preferably within the Energy or industrial sectors. Proficiency with AutoCAD Plant 3D, CADWorx, or similar 3D modeling software. Solid understanding of piping layout and design principles. Strong communication and teamwork skills with a positive, solutions‑focused mindset. Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and quality. Desire to learn, adapt, and grow professionally within a dynamic mechanical design team. Compensation and Benefits Compensation is determined by scope, level, geography, and candidate skills. The starting base pay may vary accordingly.
