Looking for a licensed Psychiatric Physician Assistant to work in our beautiful Private Practice in Irvine, CA.

Outpatient only, Adults only, Commercial Insurance Patients, General Psychiatry. No nights, No weekends.

4 Weeks for Credentialing Time Prior to Start Date. Professional Malpractice Insurance will be provided.

In-office (Irvine location), although Hybrid model with some remote work-from-home is an option.

Position is hourly, part-time. You will be paid for every billable hour you work (typically 2 follow-up appointments per hour).
Supervising Psychiatrist completes New Patient/Intake appointments.

Up to 4 hours per day for 1 day per week (Wednesdays)

Up to 8 hours per day for 2 days per week (Thursdays and Fridays)

During the initial onboarding period, work hours may be less than expected due to inadequate patient appointments/schedule utilization. Billable patient slots/hours may be utilized instead for Admin Support duties, training activities, and additional Consultation/Supervision with your Supervising Psychiatrist.

Once your patient load reaches capacity of 20 hours per week, there will be an option to scale up to full-time (up to 40 hours per week).

This position is currently W-2 but without benefits, no health insurance, no PTO. However, the clinic may offer benefits to its employees in the future, as the business grows.

 

Qualifications:
All candidates must hold a valid and current Physician Assistant License from the State of California, with no restrictions or disciplinary actions.

All candidates must have graduated from an accredited Physician Assistant training program.

All candidates must have a valid and current NPI number.

All candidates must have a valid and current DEA number, and must have completed an approved education course in the prescribing of controlled substances.
