Part-Time Van Driver Aide (KREST)
We are accepting applications for a Part-Time Van Driver to support our Day Support Programs located in Kenbridge and Farmville . This posting is for current and potential future openings at any of the three locations. This position involves working a daily split shift , totaling approximately 20 to 28 hours per week . As a Van Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting individuals to and from one of our Day Support Program sites using an agency vehicle. The work schedule is Monday through Friday , with a morning shift from 6:30 AM to 8:30 AM and an afternoon shift from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM . The assigned route will begin and end at the same program location, depending on the specific position and agency needs. If offered employment, you will be assigned to one of the above locations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
KNOWLEDGES OF:
1. The disability of mental illness and/or intellectual disabilities.
2. Vehicle operating procedures.
3. Basic computational math.
4. The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) and the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) security and privacy regulations as they relate to the protection of confidential medical information and personal health information as required by law, professional ethics and accreditation requirements.
