Part-Time Accounts Payable Specialist

A company in the Trumbull area is seeking a  Part-Time Accounts Payable Specialist to support the accounting department and Controller. This role is approximately 20 hours per week , with flexibility on days and hours, as long as work is completed during regular business hours. Responsibilities:

• Receive and sort Accounts Payable (AP) invoices
• Match invoices to purchase orders or subcontracts
• Work with vendors
• Oversee the A/P sub-ledger.
• Order and maintain office supplies.
• Initiate vendor payments promptly and accurately.

Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in the payables process.
• Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks efficiently.
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience in accounts payable or similar positions.
