Job Description
Growing peer-reviewed Long Island CPA Firm seeking an experienced part time accountant. 2-4 days per week. The firm does Audits, Reviews and Compilations, all levels of tax return work and a specialization in Forensic Accounting. Very interesting work since the firm gets many court appointments. This is a permanent year round position with very flexible hours!
Responsibilities:
Prepare Corporate/Individual/Partnership Tax Returns
Interact with business and non-profit clients
Assistance with Forensic Accounting cases
Assist with Audits, Reviews and Compilations
Business Valuation -Assistance
Qualifications:
3 years of experience in public accounting doing tax returns
Knowledge of QuickBooks and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Knowledge of Lacerte and OfficeTools a plus
Ability to communicate well with clients
Must be detail and deadline-oriented
Must be able to work independently
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Flexible hours - will accommodate school schedules; returnees welcome
Some telecommuting OK
