First Financial Bank has an immediate opening for a Night Computer Operator at the Corporate Office located in El Dorado, Arkansas.

The primary responsibility of this position is to process the Bank's daily transactions on AS400 computer, including performing nightly updating of bank Core solution and to assist in PC/Printer and related software and equipment servicing and support while adhering to the Bank's policies and procedures.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or one year up to and including two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

COMPLEXITY (MENTAL SKILLS): Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Confirm and/or verify batch totals for all of the day processing. Start and end necessary subsystems at the appropriate time on the AS400. Follow and execute written instructions (checklist) in order to update the Bank's master files. Execute and update instructions written in the procedure manual, when necessary. Notify the appropriate individual(s) immediately when encountering a problem(s) with processing (i.e., out-of-balance batch totals, non-matching totals, entering the wrong information, program halts). Monitor all programs submitted to make sure they finish. Execute the general ledger process. Maintain an up-to-date checklist of nightly procedures. Print nightly reports, checks, statements, and special forms. Change printer ribbons and toner cartridges, when necessary. Responsible for PC computer setups and installations. Handle assigned Help Desk Tickets in a timely manner. Required to travel to provide technical support to the Bank's other locations outside of El Dorado. Assist with PC Support not limited to the following: support/install/troubleshoot PC's/software/printers for all departments, answer incoming and outgoing calls for all IT areas. Assist in other areas of IT where cross-training has been provided. Handle assigned KACE tickets. Responsible for maintaining the Bank's equipment/software inventory, ensuring proper cost centers are charged. Perform additional tasks as assigned by department management.

This position requires an individual who can occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
