Position: Night Cleaner 2ndshift (Posting Number 2526-3385)
Hours: Monday - Friday 1:00pm-9:30pm
Location: District Wide
Start Date: As Needed
Salary: Hourly wage will be determined by the current CCMA contract as well as experience
We strongly welcome candidates with the following qualifications:
Must have knowledge of building cleaning practices, supplies, equipment, and the ability to use them economically and efficiently.
The ideal candidate should have the ability to understand/follow simple oral/written directions.
The right person for this position will be thorough, dependable, and in good physical condition.
The ideal candidate must show initiative/imagination/willingness to perform janitorial tasks.
Responsibilities:
Must be able to perform and be knowledgeable in the upkeep of building, furniture and fixtures such as:
Sweeping, dusting, mopping, polishing halls, stairs and entries
Dusting, polishing, washing furniture, walls, lavatory facilities
Vacuuming carpets and furniture
Securing windows and offices
Operating floor care machines
Securing and locking windows and office/classroom doors.
Operates mechanical equipment, moves, or unloads heavy furniture and boxes
Making complete rounds of all areas of jurisdiction daily
