Overview of position:

FEDITC is seeking a Network Engineer Principal to work at Scott AFB, IL. A United States Citizenship and an active Top Secret Clearance is required to be considered for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Provides technical and/or leadership analysis in data network planning, engineering, and design.
• Provides analysis for implementation techniques and tools for the most efficient solution to network problems.
• Maintains technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, multiplexers, hubs, bridges, gateways, etc.
• Coordinates third-party maintenance for network equipment and troubleshoots problems with department users and department network administrators.

Qualifications

Experience/Education:

• 8+ years of experience
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Great communication and presentation skills
• May develop uniform operation procedures.
• May include personnel and/or project leadership responsibilities

Clearance:

• Active Top Secret Security Clearance is required .
• Must be a US Citizen and pass a background check.
• Maintain applicable security clearance(s) at the level required by the client and/or applicable certification(s) as requested by FEDITC and/or required by FEDITCS Client(s)/Customer(s)/Prime contractor(s)
