4 days ago Be among the first 25 applicants Summary Responsible for managing the preventative maintenance of all IT‑related equipment, effectively identifying issues as they occur and taking the appropriate steps to solve them. The position requires providing technical assistance and support to all departments. Responsibilities Manage preventive maintenance of all IT‑related equipment, identify issues, and troubleshoot and resolve them promptly. Diagnose and fix a wide range of computer hardware and software problems, maintaining thorough knowledge of PC hardware and peripherals. Manage Telecom, including hands‑on expertise with patch panels, phone systems, cables and wiring, PBX, etc. Oversee servers with expert knowledge of Microsoft Server 2016/2019, Active Directory, Office 365, and Exchange. Administer networking protocols, proficient knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, FTP, SMTP, IMAP and related protocols. Utilize network hardware such as routers, switches, wireless access points and design both wired and wireless networks. Use equipment such as Dell/HP switches/routers, SonicWALL firewalls, Meraki WiFi, Cisco UCS, Northstar Club Software, Microsoft Windows, and VMware virtualization suites. Perform remote and on‑site technical support. Maintain full knowledge of equipment maintenance and appropriate usage. Schedule and coordinate technology usage for planned activities, meetings, and events. Maintain inventory and complete requisitions for replacement parts and/or equipment. Review IT ticketing system continuously, identify and prioritize critical issues, and expedite resolution. Review status of assignments and follow‑up action with IT staff. Conduct ongoing training with new IT staff as needed. Promote a cooperative working environment, maximizing productivity and employee morale. Manage and enforce all IT departmental policies. Work with outside vendors efficiently and professionally. Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas. Communicate with members, co‑workers, management, and the general public courteously and professionally. Adhere to all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions. Maintain a professional demeanor that reflects a positive image of The Polo Club. Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Information Technology. Strong verbal and written communication in English. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English. Ability to interact professionally and maintain effective working relationships with management, co‑workers, and members. Flexibility to work on‑call schedules, including nights and weekends, as business needs dictate. Supervisory Responsibilities Directly supervises seasonal IT and A/V staff when applicable and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws, including training, planning, assigning, and directing work. Minimum of five years in a Microsoft Networking environment. Language Ability Prior experience in the Hospitality industry strongly preferred. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees. Mathematical Ability Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry, and apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Reasoning Ability Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Certificates and Licenses No requirements.
