Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of design principles and a passion for transforming spaces into aesthetically pleasing and functional environments. You will collaborate with clients to understand their vision, create innovative design concepts, and manage projects from inception to completion.

Duties

  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and client communications to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with contractors, architects, and other professionals to execute designs effectively.
  • Conduct site visits to assess project progress and ensure compliance with design specifications.
  • Utilize knowledge of color theory, lighting design, and materials to enhance interior spaces.
  • Prepare contracts and negotiate terms with clients and vendors as necessary.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to provide innovative solutions.

Qualifications

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of drafting techniques and construction processes related to interior design.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members.
  • Familiarity with budgeting practices related to interior design projects.
  • Experience in lighting sales or lighting design is a plus.
  • A degree in Interior Design or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • A portfolio showcasing previous work that demonstrates creativity and technical skills is required.
