Are you a certified Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Aide (PCA) with hands-on experience caring for clients with advanced dementia ? We're looking for compassionate, reliable caregivers who can provide the patience, structure, and support our clients need to thrive.

Alvita Care is a mission-driven Home Healthcare & Personal Care Agency with four branches and over 500 caregivers. We provide relief and assurance to family members in areas like In-Home Personal Care, Alzheimer's & Dementia Care, Palliative & Hospice Care, and Geriatric Care Management. We are accredited by The Joint Commission. Our clients are private-pay, and we do not accept Medicare or Medicaid.

We are expanding our care services across Connecticut and the five boroughs, offering private-duty one-on-one care and facility-based care cases.

Qualifications

• Valid HHA/PCA certification in NY.
• Proven experience as an HHA or PCA, with at least 2 years preferred (nursing home background is a plus).
• Updated medicals/vaccinations or willingness to obtain.
• Completed drug screen or Habituation Form.
• Successful completion of Alvita Care onboarding process.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging behaviors.
• Trustworthy, reliable, and compassionate.
• Experience with Memory Care, Palliative care, ADL, and transfers is a plus.

Details

• Full-time, part-time, and per diem shifts available.
• Live-in positions available.
• 6-12 hour daytime shifts; occasional overnight shifts.
• Weekend availability and shift flexibility.
• Supportive and respectful work environment.
• Pay: $19.10-$20.00/hour.
• Weekly pay via direct deposit, debit pay card, or check.
