We handle a wide range of residential and commercial tasks with professionalism, precision, and care. We’re looking to expand our team with an experienced and versatile handyman who is skilled with a variety of tools and can tackle multiple types of repair and maintenance work. Must be able to work weekends.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Handyman who has a broad range of skills and hands-on experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in using various tools and have practical experience in multiple handyman tasks. You should be comfortable working independently, problem-solving on the spot, and performing tasks ranging from minor repairs to larger home improvement projects.

As an experienced Handyman, you will be responsible for completing a wide variety of repairs, maintenance tasks, and installations in both residential and commercial settings. You should have an excellent work ethic, attention to detail, and be able to take initiative.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general repairs and maintenance for homes and commercial properties (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, etc.).
• Install, assemble, or repair furniture, fixtures, appliances, and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of issues, from leaky faucets to electrical malfunctions.
• Install and repair drywall, patch holes, and paint as needed.
• Repair or replace windows, doors, locks, and handles.
• Manage minor plumbing work, including repairing faucets, sinks, and toilets.
• Perform light electrical work, including changing light fixtures, replacing outlets, and troubleshooting circuit issues.
• Assist with the installation of kitchen and bathroom fixtures, including cabinets, countertops, and backsplashes.
• Perform seasonal maintenance (e.g., cleaning gutters, winterizing plumbing).
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
• Provide excellent customer service, ensuring high satisfaction with every job.
• Communicate effectively with clients to explain work, offer solutions, and provide estimates.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience as a handyman with a wide range of general maintenance and repair skills.
• Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience with drywall installation, patching, and painting.
• Basic plumbing and electrical skills (replacing faucets, installing light fixtures, troubleshooting issues).
• Carpentry skills, including cabinet assembly, trim work, and basic construction.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and local codes when performing tasks.
• Good communication skills and a customer-service-oriented attitude.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and equipment.
• Reliable transportation.

Bonus Skills (not required but a plus):

• Knowledge of advanced plumbing, electrical, or HVAC systems.
• Experience in home remodeling or renovations.
• Ability to install and repair flooring (tile, laminate, carpet).
• Experience with outdoor repairs, including fencing, decking, and landscaping maintenance.
• Familiarity with basic HVAC maintenance.
• Painting and decorative work experience (interior and exterior).
