The Opportunity: Seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Fund Accountant to join their team. This role is ideal for professionals with public accounting experience, particularly those coming from Big 4 or a similar top-tier firm who have worked closely with clients in private equity, venture capital, hedge funds, or broader asset management. You will play a key role in supporting fund operations, financial reporting, and investor communications, while working closely with the finance and investment teams. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and review periodic fund financial statements and capital account reporting Assist with NAV calculations, investor allocations, and waterfall models Coordinate with third-party administrators, auditors, and tax advisors Maintain internal records and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting Support year-end audit and tax processes for multiple fund structures Assist in enhancing accounting processes, systems, and controls Collaborate cross-functionally with investment, legal, and operations teams Qualifications: 2-4 years of experience in public accounting (Big 4 or similar), preferably in financial services Strong understanding of fund structures, investment partnerships, and capital flows Experience auditing or servicing private equity, venture capital, hedge funds, or similar CPA or CPA-track preferred but not required Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Seniority level Entry level Employment type Full-time Job function Accounting/Auditing Industries Financial Services, Investment Management, and Venture Capital and Private Equity Principals #J-18808-Ljbffr Oliver James
