WESTAFF is actively recruiting for Shipping/Receiving/Forklift Operator in Warehouse in the Durham, NC area.

$17.50 per hr.


1 st Shift 8am-5pm Monday-Friday-Some OT required a peak time.


Shipping & Receiving task.

• Computer skills
• Monthly Inventory
• Unloading items from carriers
• Receipt of purchase orders ensuring correct quantities of good received.
• Fulfillment & review of requested customer orders.
• Safely utilizing company equipment (forklift, hand trucks, pallet jack, Plastic wrapping machine, strapping machine) in the process of executing inventory transactions, relocation & distribution.
• Review of inventory counts to mitigate company loss.
• Other related task as needed per recommendation of warehouse manager.

Requirements:

• Customer & team-focused individual with the ability to work in fast-paced environment.
• Prior Forklift skills, and Forklift certificate a plus
• Shipping & Receiving Items
• Solid organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Concise communication and problem-solving skills to maximize efficiency.
• Ability to bend, lift and maneuver items up to 50 lbs. individually. Team lift, where in excess.
• Prior forklift use & certification a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
• Ability to work in a changing environment, where workflow can fluctuate from slow to inundated with orders.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, as most of the warehouse is NOT temperature-controlled.
• Valid driver's license.

Education:


High School Diploma or GED required.
