As a Production Supervisor you are empowered to drive best in class results. You have responsibility for the overall operating performance of the production process on your shift . You will provide leadership and direction for your team in a manufacturing facility that operates multiple high speed production lines.
What You’ll Do
- Promote and ensure a safe working environment and foster a strong safety culture.
- Supervise a team of 20+ production employees , including full-time and temporary staff.
- Hire, schedule, and develop frontline employees.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, ergonomic standards, and safety protocols.
- Maintain and enforce standardized operating procedures and training programs.
- Oversee adherence to quality standards and ensure all quality protocols are followed.
- Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and Facilities to drive improvements and cost savings.
- Monitor and report shift productivity metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Manage production costs using lean manufacturing techniques and effective cross-training.
- Ensure inventory accuracy by upholding inventory control procedures.
- Conduct timely quarterly and annual performance reviews.
- Act as a key contact for food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance; escalate concerns when necessary.
- Guarantee the production of safe, high-quality, and compliant products, including assigning trained designees when needed.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

Education: High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred. - Experience: Minimum 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment; food & beverage industry.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems preferred.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, TQM, and visual/pull systems.
- Strong data-driven decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Leadership Skills:
- Ability to provide actionable feedback and coaching.
- Skilled in delivering group presentations to employees and leadership.
