• At least 5 years of organic farming experience with annual vegetables and seed crops on 10-20 acres
• Desire to mentor beginning farmers
• Ability to focus on production/revenue goals, adhere to a budget, maintain operational logs
• Experience managing multiple market outlets to stay on budget, to include wholesale accounts as well as farmers market, farm stand, local food hub, etc.
• Ready and able to contribute to and implement crop plan with input from current Farm Manager (seeding, direct seeding, transplanting, irrigating, harvesting, processing, etc.)
• Experience with managing a certified organic farm system
• Strong communication skills
• Eager to be part of a non-profit leadership team
• Familiar with regenerative farming practices, to include judicious use of tillage, tarping, integration and rotational grazing of small numbers of livestock, cover cropping, and pest management via exclusion methods
• Comfortable with public speaking and leading community tours
