We are currently seeking an entry-level Epic Analyst to be a part of the Health Information Management Epic team to assist with planning, analyzing, designing, implementing tests and maintaining Epic HIM software applications. Candidates will collaborate with user departments to anticipate and resolve problems, develop and modify procedures to solve complex data processing problems and prepare detailed specifications from which programs are written. Requirements: This is an on-site position that will require reporting to our Main Hospital Campus in Baton Rouge, LA. Hybrid or remote work is not available. Experience in Health Information Management is preferred. Bachelor's degree in an Health Information Management or Information Technology is highly preferred . Must have strong problem solving and critical thinking skills and the ability to build relationships across the organization. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills are also required. Responsibilities: Acts as the primary support contact for the application's end-users. Identifies issues that arise in own application area as well as issues that impact other application teams, and works to resolve them. Guides workflow design, builds and tests the system, and analyzes other technical issues associated with Epic software. Identifies and implements requested changes to the system.
