Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Journeyman Electrician to join our team. You will be responsible for independently leading crews and handling various electrical projects in industrial, commercial, and residential settings. Your tasks will include wiring receptacles, breakers, panels, running wires, and reading blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, and appliances.
• Connect circuit breakers, transformers, and other components.
• Construct and fabricate parts using hand tools according to specifications.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems and correct problems using test equipment and hand tools.
• Plan layouts and install electrical wiring, fixtures such as motors, generators, switches, and circuit breakers.
• Inspect wiring and fixtures for conformance to specifications and local electrical codes.
• Identify hazards, defects, and the need for repair to ensure compliance with electrical codes.
• Install ground leads and connect power cables to equipment such as motors.
• Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring based on job specifications and local codes.
• Repair or replace wiring, equipment, and fixtures using tools.
• Follow blueprints to ensure conformance to building and safety codes.
• Test electrical systems and continuity using devices like ohmmeters and voltmeters.

Work Environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hancock, MD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $72800.00/yr. Health Insurance PTO 401k

Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in Hancock, MD.
