Job: Entry-Level Engineer – Architectural / Mechanical / Electrical (Buildings Group)

Location: Lenexa, KS or Broomfield, CO

The Buildings Group at GBA is welcoming entry level engineers to join our team! The buildings group has two primary markets: Life Sciences and Mission Critical . This opportunity is in Lenexa, KS or Broomfield, CO.

Life Sciences serves many of the world's top 20 bio-pharma companies. Our Life Science group is a collaborative team of engineers and architects focused on the design of mechanical and electrical systems within the bio-pharma industry.

Mission Critical specializes in many of the top Information Technology companies. Our team in Mission Critical will work on the design of mechanical/electrical systems for data center, telecommunications, and industrial facilities.

Both groups offer the opportunity to work within an integrated team of architects, engineers, commissioning specialists, project managers, and construction managers.

• Prepare construction documents for various systems
• Review shop drawings and respond to RFIs
• Verify permitting and code compliance
• Conduct facility evaluations and engineering studies
• Support troubleshooting and commissioning efforts
• Participate in other engaging duties as assigned

• Currently pursuing a BS or MS in Architectural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (or related field) from an accredited program
• Minimum 2 years of completed coursework
• GPA of 2.7 or higher strongly preferred
• Prior internship or related experience is a plus
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and Excel preferred
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Active involvement in campus, community, or volunteer organizations

Pay range is $24.00 - $26.50 depending on experience
