Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Drain Cleaning Technician to support our pest control services. This role is responsible for cleaning and maintaining drain systems in commercial kitchens and food establishments, helping to eliminate organic buildup that can attract pests. The ideal candidate should have experience with drain maintenance, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently during after-hours service times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough drain cleaning services, including scrubbing and removing debris from drains.
• Use steam cleaning equipment to sanitize drain lines and surrounding areas.
• Apply enzyme treatments to eliminate odors and break down organic matter within the drain system.
• Inspect drains and report any signs of blockage, damage, or pest activity.
• Collaborate with pest control technicians to ensure sanitary and pest-free environments.
• Follow all safety procedures and sanitation protocols during service.
• Maintain equipment and ensure proper use of chemicals and tools.
• Complete service reports.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in drain cleaning, plumbing, or a related field preferred.
• Ability to use steamers, brushes, and enzyme products safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Must be able to work evenings or overnight shifts, as most services are completed after business hours.
• Ability to lift and move equipment and work in confined spaces.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (if travel is required).
• High school diploma/GED preferred
• Strong communication skills.
