Job Description
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Director of Pharmacy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Summary:
A mail order specialty pharmacy is seeking a Director of Pharmacy Quality and Compliance to lead quality initiatives and oversee regulatory operations. This role will ensure patient safety, continuous improvement, and compliance across multiple service lines including retail, infusion, specialty, and treatment navigation.
Schedule:
Full-time, day shift
Hybrid role with remote flexibility
Travel to Kalamazoo, MI as needed
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the Quality Management Program (QMP)
Develop and implement SOPs and compliance policies aligned with industry standards
Track KPIs and prepare quality reports for leadership teams
Oversee incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen compliance and quality initiatives
Requirements:
Advanced healthcare degree (PharmD, RPh, RN, or equivalent) with active Michigan license
Minimum 5 years of leadership in healthcare quality, ideally within pharmacy operations
Strong knowledge of quality improvement, risk management, and accreditation standards
