Data Entry Clerk

We are looking for a part-time detail-oriented data entry clerk to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Dallas, Texas. In this role, you will contribute to the payroll department by ensuring accurate and timely data entry for certified payroll processes. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong organizational skills and a commitment to precision.

Responsibilities:

• Enter certified payroll data accurately and efficiently on a weekly basis.
• Prepare and complete manual payroll sheets with a high degree of attention to detail.
• Audit and verify payroll information to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Handle heavy clerical tasks with precision and organization.
• Maintain and update records related to payroll processes.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies or issues in payroll data.
• Follow established procedures and guidelines to meet deadlines.
• Utilize computer systems and software for data entry tasks.
• Support the payroll department with additional administrative responsibilities as needed.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in data entry or clerical roles, preferably 2+ years.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in manual data entry tasks.
• Proficiency in using computer systems and typing skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage weekly deadlines.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Capable of auditing and verifying information with precision.
• Familiarity with certified payroll processes is a plus but not required.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating within a team environment.
