We're seeking a top-tier Content Writer & Social Media Specialist to position BuildX as the #1 trusted authority in accessory dwelling units (ADUs).  
You’ll be responsible for creating high-impact written content  and owning our social media presence to drive brand awareness, engagement, and qualified inbound leads.

content that performs. 

Core
Responsibilities  

Content Writing &
Strategy  

·        
Execute Marcus Sheridan’s “They
Ask, You Answer”framework through clear, authoritative content 

·        
Publish 3+ high-quality pieces
of content weekly (blogs, guides, articles, website copy, etc.) 

·        
Interview internal subject-matter
experts to craft compelling, trustworthy narratives 

·        
Contribute to SEO strategy to maximize
organic traffic and visibility 

Social Media Management  

·        
Own BuildX’s social media strategy and
publishing calendar within channel management SaS, currently MetriCool. 

·        
Create and schedule daily/weekly posts
across platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, X/Twitter, Facebook, etc.) 

·        
Repurpose long-form content into
engaging short-form formats (reels, carousels, captions) 

·        
Monitor trends, engage with followers,
and grow our online community 

·        
Track social performance metrics and
optimize for reach, engagement, and conversions 

·        
Build and nurture presence on Reddit 

Lead Generation &
Content Optimization  

·        
Support premium content creation
(ebooks, pillar pages, conversion assets) 

·        
Assist with email newsletters, nurture
sequences, and marketing workflows 

·        
Collaborate with Content Manager on
content that drives pipeline and enables deal closure 

·        
Use analytics to continuously improve
content performance and ROI 

·        
Create
pre-written “answer templates” for common ADU questions 

AI & Technology
Integration  

·        
Use AI tools to increase content output
and improve workflow efficiency 

·        
Optimize content for distribution across
social channels 

Requirements  

Essential Skills  

·        
Exceptional writing, editing, and
storytelling abilities 

·        
Experience using AI tools (ChatGPT,
Claude, etc.) 

·        
Familiarity with CRM software (Go High
Level), Google Analytics, SEMRush 

·        
Strong research, interviewing, and
project management skills 

·        
Data-driven approach to content and
social strategy 

·        
Collaborative, team-first mentality 

Preferred Background  

·        
Degree in English, Journalism,
Communications, or Public Relations 

·        
Experience in print/broadcast journalism 

·        
Go High Level/HubSpot certifications
