About the Role
We are in search of a strategic and visionary Chief Technology and Innovation Officer (CTIO) to lead our transformative initiatives at the crossroads of education technology and literacy enhancement. This role is pivotal in shaping our innovation agenda around technology-enabled solutions aimed at improving literacy outcomes for children. You will oversee product development, IT, and R&D while ensuring all new projects align with our mission and long-term goals.
As part of your responsibilities, you will pilot and manage the Innovation Lab, focusing on community-centered approaches and revenue-generating delivery models. Ideal candidates will possess a robust background in enterprise technology strategy, software engineering, user-centered design, and product development. Proven experience in managing scalable tech products that have made an impact is essential.
To be considered for this role, you should have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, at least 5 years in a senior leadership position, and a minimum of 10 years in relevant technology and innovation fields. You should demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset, a commitment to continuous learning, and a strong focus on design thinking and user experience. Experience in AI and a familiarity with edtech is a plus.
