This Is What Youll Do
- Ensure the operation is compliant with state and federal regulations (FDA SOP, OSHA, CLIA, GMP) to maintain the highest production standards.
- Maintain customer service and positive donor experience in line with company values.
- Keep the work area clean and professional.
- Review and confirm donor identification and ensure donor confidentiality.
- Set up and prepare all equipment and supplies for venipuncture and plasmapheresis.
- Label each unit and sample accurately.
- Execute venipunctures and plasma collection, maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Operate automated plasmapheresis machines, respond to alarms, evaluate alerts, and manage donor adverse events.
- Monitor donor conditions to ensure comfort and product quality.
- Maintain proper donor?to?product ratio.
- Disconnect donor and dispose of biohazard waste and contaminated equipment in accordance with safety protocols.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly calibration/maintenance of automated plasmapheresis machines and replace equipment when needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all records, including machine logs.
- Report all unsafe situations and conditions to management.
- Stock adequate inventory and replenish supplies on plasma carts.
- Drive training efficiencies to ensure timeliness and compliance.
- Troubleshoot machine alarms/alerts and perform regular quality checks.
- Perform other job?related tasks as assigned.
This Is What It Takes
- High school diploma, or equivalent (GED) required.
- State?specific certification or licensing as required.
- Minimum three months experience in a medical or health?care environment or equivalent education/experience.
- Completed documentation of training before performing duties independently.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal protocol.
- Basic computer knowledge and skills.
- Ability to make accurate and complete documentation.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety regulations, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to function effectively in a fast?paced environment with frequent interruptions.
- Demonstrated consistency and reliability (good attendance, punctuality, full effort, flexibility).
- Availability for daytime, evening hours, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts.
- Ability to perform venipuncture.
- Effective communication skills.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and pull up to thirty?five pounds.
- Ability to bend, stoop, or kneel.
- Ability to use all required PPE.
- Occupational exposure to blood?borne pathogens.
- Ability to view video display terminals within 18 inches for extended periods.
- Ability to perform precise tasks with repetitive small motor skills, such as drawing blood.
- Ability to use assistive devices if needed for mobility or communication.

Pay Transparency
The expected base pay for this position at hiring is $19.47 ? $25.96 ? $32.45. Individual base pay for a successful candidate within this range is determined by qualifications, skill level, experience, competencies and other relevant factors.
