Assistant Spa Manager and Sales at Heights Wellness Retreat

Overview: This role supports the Retreat Director in delivering exceptional guest service and team member satisfaction, and leads sales and front desk initiatives within a membership-based wellness retreat environment.

Responsibilities

• Directly assist the Retreat Director in supervising all aspects of Retreat operations, driving revenue and profitability, managing inventory, and ensuring brand systems and processes are consistently followed across shifts
• Assist with recruitment, hiring, training, developing, and retaining top talent
• Plan and implement Front Desk sales training; provide in-the-moment coaching and role-playing to support the Front Desk Team
• Stay updated on services, products, and promotions; model best practices for the team
• Manage team member schedules to support effective daily operations
• Collaborate with the Retreat Director to set individual and overall team goals; develop plans and execute to achieve and exceed them
• Lead by example, achieving personal and team goals

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of face-to-face sales or retail management experience
• Self-starter with leadership, organization, communication, and interpersonal skills
• At least 1 year of experience in training, coaching, and conflict resolution
• Ability to develop positive relationships with employees and coach/mentor with discipline
• Working knowledge of computers and standard software
• Basic business math skills
• Must be able to work varied hours including weekends, evenings, and holidays

Schedule

• 68 hour shifts
• Required 1 weekend shift
• Days and evening shifts available
• Weekends, evenings, and holidays required
