Position: Animal Care Technician
Location: Ann Arbor, Michigan

Hours -Full time/ Monday-Friday/Day Shift

What You’ll Do: As an Animal Care Technician, you’ll play a vital role in supporting groundbreaking research. Don’t worry if you’re new to the field — we provide extensive training to set you up for success.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing daily care and clean housing for lab animals (primarily mice)

• Cleaning feeders, water bottles, cages, and facility areas

• Monitoring animal health and well-being

• Maintaining accurate lab records

• Operating and inspecting equipment

• Supporting waste removal and air filtration systems

• Dispensing feed and setting up housing for studies

• Reporting and helping resolve any animal care concerns

• High school diploma or GED preferred (but not required)

• Experience in animal care, farming, hospitality, or retail is a plus
