Coker University's College of Humanities and Sciences invites applicants to apply for the position of Adjunct Faculty in English to teach courses in the First Year Writing Program on campus.

Primary responsibilities include:

• organizing and presenting subject matter in a meaningful way to achieve intended learning outcomes for students;

• evaluating student progress and recording student grades and attendance in CobraStop;

• managing engaging class discussions and activities in seated courses;

• Maintaining resources and grading within the Brightspace learning management system

• responding to student communication and providing constructive and robust feedback in a timely manner;

• following the policies and procedures of Coker University and the College of Humanities and Sciences

Qualifications

Master's degree or beyond in English, Composition and Rhetoric, or a related field. Applicants should be passionate about teaching and dedicated to developing meaningful, collegial working relationships with faculty and students.
